Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the UAE H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan was on an official visit to India from 19 - 20 October 2026.

2.​ Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held delegation-level talks with Minister of External Affairs Dr. S. Jaishankar. The two Ministers reviewed the progress of the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and expressed satisfaction at the steady progress achieved across key areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, energy, defence, technology and people-to-people ties. They noted the recent productive visit of EAM to Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. The Ministers also exchanged perspectives on regional and global issues of mutual interest and agreed to continue their close and regular consultations.

3.​ The visit reaffirmed the strength and momentum of the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the shared commitment of both countries to further broaden and deepen bilateral cooperation.
