THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

The projects cover a wide range of sectors such as water, power, railways, roads, agriculture, education and healthcare, etc. A large number of projects have already been completed; remaining are under various stages of implementation.

Timelines for projects are based on consultation with host governments and the local ground situation. Every effort is made to implement projects expeditiously, in close consultation with the host Governments. Regular project review meetings are held with all stakeholders.

India's development partnership is based on a consultative and demand-driven model, focused on addressing the needs and aspirations of its partner countries. These projects have created a multiplier effect on the social and economic infrastructure in these countries, and have enabled them to move ahead on their development trajectory. Many of these projects have also served as enablers for ‘Make-in-India’ initiative; and have facilitated the process of Indian industry going global.
