The President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Mr. John Dramani Mahama , will pay an Official Visit to India from November 10 to 13, 2013 at the invitation of the President of India. The President will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including
the Ghanian Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Economic Planning, Trade and Industry, Information and Media Relations and the Greater Accra Region, besides senior Government officials
During the visit, President Mahama will be received by the President, who will also host a dinner in his honour. He will hold discussions on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest with the Prime Minister of India. The External Affairs
Minister and Minister of Commerce and Industry will call on the President of Ghana . President Mahama will also address a business meeting jointly organized by FICCI, CII and ASSOCHAM.
Relations between India and Ghana are close and friendly, marked by a growing economic engagement. Ghana’s rich natural resources and its on-going programme of infrastructure and industrial development, provide significant potential for enhancement of trade
and investment ties between the two countries.
