Conference Clearance System
Brief Overview
Ministry of External Affairs has launched an online portal (www.conference.epolclearance.gov.in 
) to facilitate online applications for grant of political clearances to foreign nationals to attend/participate in conference/seminar/workshops/sports events being organised in India by Govt/Private bodies. It is an automated single window web based application that will be used by organizations to register and apply for the political clearance. Salient features of the portal are as under

- The online portal will be available 24*7.
- Smoother and hassle free user interface with substantial shortening of processing time.
- User has to register once, thereafter, he/she can apply for multiple conferences using the same registered account.
- The email ID and mobile number once used for registration cannot be used to register again.
- Facility to check status of application online and also to withdraw, if required.
- Once proposal is cleared, a communication on the registered email ID will be sent to keep the organizer informed.
